about

Chaos Disorder And Panic is a noisy crusty punk band written and performed by multi instrumentalist Noelle Chaos. With a diverse catalog of music ranging from, punk, crust, grindcore, hardcore with the occasional sprinkling of sludge and harsh noise. All the instruments: bass, drums and vocals are written and played by me with the acceptation of a few collaborations I’ve done with friends. Lyrically I write about social issues I want people think and talk about, sometimes it’s a story I want to tell, sometimes I want to satirize pop culture. I’ve been around punk scene in the DTES since around 2008 performing, organizing shows, volunteering in venues, organizing a jam space for musicians unable to find space to practice, postering, running a record distro and turning being a grumpy a Luddite and anti capitalist into a career choice as Vancouver’s get shit done punk. You name it I’ve probably done it. One of my favorite things about living and playing music in the DTES is that’s it’s so diverse with people from all different walks of life. Not only is there is so much talent and creativity but it’s a very welcoming and inclusive community to be a part of.

lyrics

Here's a song about six billion better ways to spend six billion dollars.

This five ring elitist corporate shit show has wasted six billion dollars and counting. For what? What do we have to show for it? Poverty, homelessness, exploitation, oppression, destruction of civil liberties, rights and basic freedoms.

We can think of six billion better ways to waste six billion dollars. Proper health care for everyone, education, affordable housing, and social programs would be a start.

We will not stand for this corporate shit show on stolen native land, not while people live in poverty, not while children are starving. Not while jobs are disappearing at the hand of greedy corporate outsourcing. Being homeless is a crime! Not while our civil liberties, basic rights and freedoms are being stripped away and sold off to the highest bidder

This is just the beginning over of six billions better ways to waste over six billion dollars. Six billion better ways to waste six billion dollars. Six billion better ways to waste six billion dollars. Six billion better ways to waste six billion dollars

We will not stand for this Olympic shit show on stolen native land not while people live in poverty, not while children are starving, not while jobs are disappearing at the hand of greedy corporate outsourcing. Being homeless is a crime!

Not well our civil liberties, basic rights and freedoms are being stripped away and sold off to the highest bidder.

Tonight we take back our rights. Tonight we take back our streets. Tonight we call for convergence and unity as we stand together and piss on the status quo.
